The GMFC has been serving the greater Milwaukee area for 15 years and currently has a core of dedicated volunteers who staff it twice per week.  Without our volunteers and donors, we would not be able to serve our patients and support our community.

If you qualify for any of the Volunteer Openings and feel you could offer an ongoing commitment, the GMFC may be a great opportunity for you to serve your community and network with local professionals.

Before inquiring about volunteer positions, understand that all volunteer positions are unpaid, and we are limited to 5-6 volunteers (including physicians) at the clinic on any given night due to space and resource limitations.

Also, since the GMFC staff works to provide as much quality care to our community as possible with few resources, we are unable to offer mentorships, shadowing, and preceptorships.  There are many other free clinics in the area which may be fortunate enough to offer these opportunities though.
