Physicians - Any Wisconsin Licensed Physicians or Residents
Malpractice Insurance is offered free to the volunteer provider by the state of Wisconsin.  Applications are annual and must be done through each entity where volunteer hours are donated.
The GMFC physicians provide primary care to adult patients for a wide variety of chronic and acute illnesses.  Many current physicians are certified in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.

Psychiatrist - Wisconsin Licensed
The clinic is in need of a psychiatrist willing to donate 1 or 2 nights per month at the clinic.  This would be a great opportunity to network as well as work with a unique and rewarding population of employed but financially struggling patients.

Experienced Nurse Practitioners - Wisconsin Licensed
Practitioners must be experienced and comfortable treating adult illness.  Unfortunately, the GMFC operates on limited resources and therefore cannot provide mentorship for new or student nurse practitioners.

Certified Public Accountant
The GMFC is seeking a CPA to donate the preparation and submission of the IRS 990 form by 5/15/2011.

Grant Writer
Anyone with experience writing grants for a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and willing to donate time to write at least 1 grant would be helpful.

Fundraiser
Because the clinic is privately funded, we rely on the help of community members to spread the word and organize fundraisers.  If you, your church, your employer, or any other organization is interested in fundraising, let us know.

Other Positions
All other volunteer positions are currently filled, but openings may happen at any time.  Visit this area of our site frequently if you have reception skills, nursing or medical skills, interpreter skills, or fund raising skills.

Note:  We are unable to "mentor" persons who are looking for preceptorships.
